Canon Powershot G9

So I got a Powershot G9 today in the mail, a used one I purchased off of eBay to replace my Sony HDV video camera I sold. It was pretty cheap and in good condition and it came with a card, so I went for it. These are some of the pictures I took with it today. It's really nice, it's metal and it's built like an old film camera, with an ISO dial on top and a circular command dial on the back like the pro Canons. It's got a 6x optical zoom, a built-in stabilizer, a 12.1 megapixel sensor, a hotshoe, a bigass 3" screen, RAW file format and fully manual shooting modes. Also it has a macro mode that focuses as close a 1cm to things. The image quality is decent and perfect for web video and, considering how much I hate point and shoot cameras, it's probably the only one I'd ever want to own!

Also I took this picture of deer out the window while I was driving to Larned, KS yesterday. There were four deer and two of them jumped across the street in front of me and the other two ran around in the field and looked at me, the two I took the picture of. It was with my 20D, not the G9.
